Yes. The desktop application requires no internet connection for core functionality. The optional AI Patient Narratives feature needs internet access to reach the AI API, but all other features work entirely offline.
CTDashboard never stores, copies, or transmits your data. Everything runs in memory and is discarded when you close the application. No data is written to disk and no telemetry is collected. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
Go to Settings within the application and enter your AI API key. When you generate a narrative, the selected subject's clinical data is sent to the AI API for processing. The AI provider does not store this data. The feature is entirely optional.
This is normal for new applications that haven't yet accumulated enough installations for Microsoft SmartScreen to recognize them. Click "More info" on the SmartScreen dialog, then click "Run anyway" to proceed. The installer is safe and the application contains no malware or tracking.
