These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of CTDashboard ("the Software"), a free Windows desktop application for clinical trial safety monitoring. By downloading, installing, or using CTDashboard, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. License and Cost

CTDashboard is provided free of charge. You may download, install, and use the Software at no cost. No registration, license key, or subscription is required. You may use CTDashboard for both personal and organizational purposes, including use within clinical research organizations, pharmaceutical companies, and academic institutions.

2. Intended Use

CTDashboard is designed for informational and review purposes only. The Software is intended to assist clinical research professionals in reviewing and visualizing clinical trial safety data. It does not replace:

• Independent clinical judgment by qualified medical professionals
• Regulatory obligations under applicable laws and guidelines
• Validated systems required for regulatory submissions
• Formal statistical analysis conducted by qualified biostatisticians

3. User Responsibility for Data

You are solely responsible for the accuracy, completeness, and interpretation of your own clinical data. CTDashboard processes and displays the data you provide; it does not validate, verify, or certify the correctness of any clinical dataset. Any conclusions drawn from the Software's output remain your responsibility.

4. AI Narratives Feature

CTDashboard includes an optional AI-powered narratives feature that generates draft text for patient safety narratives, lab summaries, and adverse event analyses. This feature relies on third-party AI services and requires a user-supplied API key.

• All AI-generated content is draft text only and must be reviewed, edited, and validated by qualified medical or scientific personnel before use.
• AI-generated narratives must not be included in any regulatory submission, clinical study report, or safety report without thorough human review and approval.
• The developers of CTDashboard make no representations regarding the accuracy, completeness, or regulatory acceptability of AI-generated content.

5. Data Privacy and Control

CTDashboard does not store, transmit, or access your clinical data beyond the local processing performed on your machine during use. Your data remains entirely under your control at all times. Specifically:

• No clinical data is uploaded to any server operated by CTDashboard or its developers.
• Workspace files do not contain clinical data.
• If you use the AI Narratives feature, data excerpts are sent directly from your machine to the AI provider you configure. CTDashboard does not intermediate or store these transmissions.

6. Regulatory Compliance

You are responsible for ensuring that your use of CTDashboard complies with all applicable laws, regulations, and guidelines governing the handling of clinical data, including but not limited to:

• Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines (ICH E6)
• The Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), where applicable
• The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), where applicable
• Any other local, national, or international data protection and clinical trial regulations

7. Disclaimer of Warranty

CTDashboard is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to the warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. The developers do not warrant that the Software will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of harmful components.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, CTDashboard and its developers, contributors, and affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of the Software. This includes, without limitation, damages arising from:

• Clinical decisions made based on the Software's output
• Errors, omissions, or inaccuracies in data processing or visualization
• Use of AI-generated content without adequate human review
• Loss of data, business interruption, or any other commercial damages

9. Software Updates

CTDashboard may be updated from time to time to improve functionality, fix issues, or address security concerns. Users are encouraged to use the latest available version of the Software. The developers are under no obligation to provide updates, maintenance, or support.

10. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Your continued use of CTDashboard after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which you reside, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of CTDashboard shall be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction in your locality.
